Notes - Ralph F. Long, 92, of Lexington, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Hospice Care Center. He was born January 8, 1924 in Madison County, Kentucky to the late Joe Thomas and Lucy Long. Mr. Long was a member of Parkway Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and taught Sunday School since 1961. He retired from the auto industry in 1989 and opened a dry cleaning company. He is survived by two children, Larry (Mary Lou) Long and Beverly (Charles) Hatton; three grandchildren, Charles Hatton, Jr., Heather Hatton and Chris Long and four great grandchildren, Corey Hatton, Mackenzie Long, Graham Long and Griffin Long. He was preceded in death by his wife, Francis Ann Lawson Long; one sister, Elizabeth Browning and seven brothers, Heidel, Gilbert, Sam, Jim, Abner, Tom and Randolph Long. Burial will be in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens, Jessamine County, Kentucky.
