Notes - PRICE-- Beloved mother and grandmother, Sarah Lucille Bassett Shook, age 90, passed away June 16, 2000 in Price, Utah after an extended battle with cancer.
She was born June 9, 1910 in Sacramento, CA to Edwin and Maude McGorven Bassett. Married Raymond Kennedy Shook, Aug. 4, 1933 in Hollywood, CA. He died Jan. 9, 1989.
Longtime member of the Congregational Church in Corona, California. Lucille moved to Price with her husband in 1978 where she has resided since. She enjoyed being with her family and she will be greatly missed by all of us.
Survived by: son, Edwin G. and Lisa Shook, Price; grandchildren, Danielle and Christina Shook, Price; Shelley and Ronnie Bogdin, Price; Raymond Shook, Price; Edwin K. Shook, Ontario, CA; great-grandchildren, Cassie Martin, Lake Powell; Brielle and Brenna Bogdin, Price; Delia Shook, San Bernardino, CA; very close niece, Evelyn Moffatt, Santa Maria, CA.
Funeral service, Tuesday, June 20, 2000 at 10 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell's Monday evening from 7-8 p.m. and Tuesday one hour prior to services.
Interment, Price City Cemetery.
