      Cassell - In Sacramento October 12, 1967. Henry E. Cassell, beloved husband of the late Edna Sarah Cassell, loving father of Mrs. Ver O. Pond, Mrs. Mirabel C. Shaw and Mrs. Nona E. Ogar of Sacramento, Mrs. Leatha Rising of Portland, and the late Dale O. Cassell and C. E. Cassell. Also survived by 18 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren.

      Henry E. Cassell
      Funeral services will be held tomorrow for Henry E. Cassell, 95, a long-time Sacramento resident who was active in organizing the local chapter of the Brotherhood of Railway Clerks.

      Cassell, who died Thursday in a local hospital, resided in Sacramento for 66 years and worked for the Southern Pacific Co. here for 36 years. He retired in 1939 as an assistant freight foreman.

      Survivors include daughters Mrs. Vera O. Pond, Mrs. Mirabel C. Shaw and Mrs. Nona E. Ogar, all of Sacramento, and Mrs. Leatha Rising of Portland OR.

      He also leaves 18 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.

      Services will be at 11 a.m. in the New Mission Chapel of Andrews & Greilich Mortuary. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Lawn.
