Notes - Mrs. Dorothy E. Showers, 57, 601 S. Fourteenth St., died Saturday evening in the Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of George E. Showers and a daughter of the late Ross and Maggie Boyer Stine. She was a member of Salem Evangelical United Brethren Church and its Women's Society of World Service. Besides her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Miss Elizabeth J. Showers, at home; Jeanette A., wife of Marlin O. Houser; Mary E., wife of John W. Tice and Edith, wife of Joseph R. Woelfling all of Lebanon; one son, Kenneth R. Showers, Cleona; 13 grandchildren; two sisters, Viola, wife of Lee A. Ross, and Christine, wife of Edwin Hartleib, both of Lebanon; three brothers, George and Clarence Stine, both of Lebanon, and Horace Stine, Annville, and a number of nieces and nephews.
