    MRS. MINNIE BROWN DIES AT MADISON
    Mrs. Minnie Brown, wife of Henderson Brown of near Madison, died at her home Tuesday afternoon, after an illness of several months. Mrs. Brown was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Millard Reid, was born May 7, 1864, in Monroe County. In early life, she united with the Ash Baptist Church, and later moved her membership to the Madison Baptist Church. She was married to Henderson Brown in 1886. Two children were born to this union, one of whom, Norma Jewell, died in 1901 at the age of three years.
    She is survived by her aged husband, a daughter, Mrs. Nora Stewart, a granddaughter, Mrs. William Hewgley, a great-grand-daughter, Lenora Arlene Hewgley, all of Madison; two brothers, John Reid, Madison; Henry Reid, Tulsa, Oklahoma; a sister, Mrs. Relda Powell, Madison. Mrs. Charles W. Smiley was reared in the home of Mrs. and Mrs. Brown as one of their own children.
