    Donald W. Brennan, 77, Greenwood, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008.
    He was a 1949 graduate of Broad Ripple High School. He owned various businesses and retired from Brennan Construction in 2006. Don enjoyed golf and spending time at his Linton lake home.
    Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Shirly Brennan, two children, Fred (Sandy) Brennan; Dennis (Tricia) Brennan; step-children, Dale, Melissa and John Kemp; seven grandchildren Eric (Katie) Brennan, Melissa (Andrew) Slightom; Max, Magie, Jake, Beau and Zoe Brennan; one great grandson, Louis James "LJ" and eight step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents, Leta and Frederick E. Brennan, Jr.; brother, Robert Gene Brennan and sister, Betty Joan Challis.
    Visitation will be from 4 to 8:00 p.m. on Wed., Oct. 22 at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home, State Road 135 and Olive Branch Road and from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thurs., Oct. 23 at Emmanuel Church of Greenwood, 1640 W. Stones Crossing Road. The Rev. Marion Glover will conduct the service at 11:30 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Food Pantry at Emmanuel Church of Greenwood.
