    Potomac
    The funeral of Otho Allison, the aged resident who died at the home of his son, east of here Tuesday, was held from the Christian church here at 3 o'clock. The services were conducted by Rev. Norton, pastor of the church. The decedent is survived by several grown children, the most of whom are residents of Vermilion county. The burial followed at the Potomac cemetery.
    The Champaign Daily News, Champaign, Illinois. Saturday, 20 May 1911.

    Obituary. Minerva J. Allison, daughter of Henry and Susan Cossairt, was born June 23, 1839, and was joined in holy matrimony to Otho Allison, January 6, 1853, and to this union was born thirteen children, nine boys and four girls, which remain at this time wit the exception of two boys, and they departed this life in their infancy - leaving a husband and eleven children to mourn the loss of a loving wife and kind mother. She joined the christian church in 1854, and lived a consistent christian till her death on July 6, 1904, aged 65 years and 13 days.

    LKH note: In the 1850 US census in Vermilion County, David Coaat, born about 1830 in England, in is the household of John Saunders, Susan (Gritton) (Cosat) Saunders and the three Cosat chilldren: Minerva, age 11, james age 10, and Sarah M., age 3. It is possible that David Cosat was a brother to Henry and stood in as guardian of the children after Henry's death in 1841.
