Velma Wiggans "Granny" Poor
Born September 6, 1901 went to be with the Lord peacefully on November 25, 2004, surrounded by her family. We are thankful that we were blessed with the Granny that everyone would want to have. Preceded in death by her son, Billy Gene Wiggans and husbands Glenn Wiggans and Roy Poor. Loved in life by her grandchildren Vicki, Keith, Liz and Kathi, nine great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, her daughter-in-law, Maggie, niece Murlene and many other nieces, nephews, friends, and everyone else who knew her as "Granny." Family and friends are welcome to attend Visitation on Tuesday, November 30, from 9am-8pm, and a celebration of her 103 years of life on Wednesday, December 1, at 2pm, both at SOUTH EAST LAWN MEMORIAL PARK & MORTUARY, 9189 E. Stockton Blvd., Elk Grove.
