    • Joseph A. Lamkin Dies
      Joseph A. Lamkin, 75, died suddenly Wednesday night from a heart attack. His wife called a doctor and he died a few minutes after his arrival. He was a retired farmer of this county and had resided in Harrodsburg for the past 15 years. Funeral services will be held at the residence Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Bruce Strother and Rev. G. Whitcomb Ellers. Burial will follow in Providence cemetery. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Maud Lamkin; one son, Thornton Lamkin; one daughter, Mrs. Harry Dean, and seven grandchildren.
