      "Edmund N. Stafford, 93, Route 2, Attica, (Odell), died at 4:20 a.m. Sunday, December 27, 1987, at his residence. He had been ill one year. He was born January 14, 1894, at Attica, the son of George W. and Margaret Amelia Campbell Stafford. He had been a resident of Fountain and Tippecanoe counties all of his life. He had resided at Odell for the past 66 years. He was married May 11, 1916, in Attica, to Helen E. Hall, who preceded him in death December 3, 1987.
      He had attended Attica High School and was a retired farmer. He was a member of Jackson Heights United Methodist Church, Wabash Lodge 708 F&AM of Attica and the Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis.
      Surviving are one son, Charles E. Stafford, Route 1, Romney; three daughters, Mrs. Carroll (Margaret) Hushaw, Route 1, Attica, Mrs. Leroy (Mary Ellen) Ade, West Lafayette, and Mrs. Donald (Barbara) Hallett, Kalamazoo, Michigan; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Dean C. and William, and a sister, Mrs. Russell (Ruth) Bridge.
      Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today (Tuesday) at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica. Funeral services will be in the Maus Chapel at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Virginia Nead officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Attica. Those so desiring may contribute in memoriam to Wabash Lodge No. 708 F&AM or the Cancer Society."
