    • Edith L. Gritton
Edith Lucille Gritton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Gritton, 9 North Jefferson street, South Side, died at the home of the parents, Friday morning at 6:05 o'clock. Her death was due to heart trouble, with which she had been afflicted for several weeks.

The little girl was born Aug. 1, 1910, in the house in which her death occurred, and was the second of the three daughters of Louis and Ethel Hall Gritton. She attended the Grant school, and was a favorite among her schoolmates and her teachers. The parents and two sisters, Helen and Esther Gritton, survive her. Henry J. Hall, pioneer justice of the peace, of Danville, is the grandfather of the little child.

Funeral services will be held at the home Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. Sheldon Harris, pastor of the South Side Congregational church, will have charge of the services, and the burial will in Springhill cemetery.
