      Wayne S. Holycross, 86 was a son of Ernest Norman and Opal A. Meeker Holycross. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Floyd and Paul Holycross. He married Margaret L. Van Dame on June 20, 1947 in Covington. She survives.
      Also surviving are six children, Donna (Duane) Lathrop, Sharon (Mike) Falletti, Connie (Terry) Boersma, Jackie Kempen, Kenny (Rose) Holycross and Lyle Holycross; two brothers, Dean Holycross and Robert Holycross; a sister, Beulah Denison; 23 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
      He served his country during World War II in the United States Army.
