She was born in Ross Township of Vermilion County, Illlinois to the late Claude and Esta Miller Bannon. She married Leon E. Curley on July 1, 1951, in Danville, Illinois. He preceded her in death on May 4, 2006.
Surviving are a daughter, Nancy J. (Archie) Quick, ; three sons, Stephen E. Curley, Terry L. (Linda) Curley and Douglas A. (Tammy) Curley, a sister, Vera (Robert) Epperson, ten grandchildren, Amy, Michelle, Amanda, Mark, Zack, Ryan, Morgan, Andrew, Jennie and Katrina and thirteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Carlina Curley.
