[6] - November 29, 1851-- March 3, 1936
March 27, 1884 Isaac Western Eddy, the son of Alpheus and Elizabeth Jeffers Eddy was born in Monroe country, Ohio, Nov. 29, 1851, and came to this county with his parents in the autumn of 1866, and since that time has resided in this county.
On the 27th day of March, 1884, he was united in marriage to Mary L. Ellis, and to them were born Ross, Will, and Mrs. W.E. Benson. Mrs. Clyde Ashby, who passed away May 12, 1921, and the wife and mother, June 29, 1931.
Others surviving are ten grandchildren, two brothers, John and Will. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, three sisters and two brothers: Mrs. Cyrena McCoy, Mrs. Elizabeth Graham, Mrs. Mahala Banks, Jeffers and Asberry Eddy.
He was a true father, a loyal citizen, and will be sadly missed by his loved ones, neighbors and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday at the Miller Funeral home with Rev. Frank A. Wilder officiating. Burial was in Oakland cemetery.
