Notes - Charles M. Knight
Hicksville - A retired farmer and a former resident here, Charles M. Knight, Kunkle, 89, died at 4:45 P.m. Sunday in the Coats Rest Home, Pioneer. He had been released from Cameron Hospital, Bryan, last week after a few days stay.
He was born Aug. 18. 1872, in Vermilion County, Ill., a son of Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Knight. He married Bessie Jackson, Danville, Ill., in March 1900. He operated a rest home in Edgerton for four years and moved to Hicksville in 1946. In 1952 he moved to Kunkle.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Dairy Eisele, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a nephew, Dale Tolbert, Danville, Ill., and a niece, Mrs. Ruth Keiser, Toledo.
Friends may call at the Perkins-Reeb funeral home after noon Tuesday. Services will be conducted in the funeral home at 1 p.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Richard Campbell, West Unity. Burial will be in Scipio cemetery.
