      Eileen E. Nuss, 91, of Valparaiso formerly of Kouts, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Whispering Pines.
      She was born February 5, 1919 in Kouts the daughter of Emil & Augusta (Klemz) Lippert and graduated from Kouts High School.
      Eileen served as a telephone operator for over 35 years with General Telephone and then Verizon. She was a member of Heritage Lutheran Church in Valparaiso and the Have Been Operators Club. Eileen was one of the truly kind and gentle spirits that walk among us, may we all learn from her peaceful and perseverant nature.
      Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, Orval Nuss in 1985, son, Eugene Nuss, brother, Bill Lippert and two sisters: Norma Jared & Wilda Mitzner.
      Survivors include her three children: Jean (Rich) Gingerich, Jerry (Paula) Nuss & Scott (Pam) Nuss all of Kouts, 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
      A visitation will be held Saturday 2
