Leckrone, Louis D. (Bud), age 84, currently of Dayton, passed away Saturday at his residence. He had been a resident of Clearwater, Florida for 32 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years of marriage, Ruth in 1991. He is survived by his daughter, Peggy Snyder of Dayton; two grandchildren, Sheryl Wright of Nebraska and Denise Davis of Alabama; four great-grandchildren, Wesley Wright, Rochelle Wright, Scott Davis and Emily Davis; also one brother, George N. Leckrone of Oregon. He was retired from the U.S. Post Office as well as being a builder with G.W. Leckrone and Sons, Leckrone Builders, a superintendent with H.C. Huber and a member of the Dayton Builders Association. He also was a member of the Community Reformed Church of Florida. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday at the Tobias Funeral Home, Far Hills Chapel, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd., with the Evangelist Darryl Cope officiating. Entombment will follow at the Miami Valley Memory Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 5-8 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
