YOUNG, Wanda Moore, 77, Richmond, KY, wife of Marion Samuel Young, Sr., died Wed. June 24, 2015 at the University of Kentucky Hospital. Born Sept. 19, 1937 in Lexington, KY, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Hallie Perkins Moore, and was a retired bookkeeper.
Survivors other than her husband include four children, Tonda Prince, Marion Samuel Young, Jr., Tanya Crum and James Young; seven grandchildren, Kyle Crum, Jessica Carman, Kenneth Carman, Kristen Young, Austin Young, Brianna Young and Samantha Young; and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 pm Fri. at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. by Pastor Keith Hatter. Burial will follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 1 pm Fri. until the service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 1504 College Way, Lexington, KY 40502.
