    Notes:

    Note on Find a Grave:
Married to John "Johnie" Madden in the early 1920s, Minnie gave birth to 7 children of record. Their names are Mary Elizabeth (Madden) Smith, John Jr "Tootsie" Madden, William V. "Buddy" Madden, Raymond Madden, Evelyn (Madden) Corkins, Benny Lee Madden, and Anna Frances (Madden) Slagle. After the death of Johnie in 1944, she quickly married to Garland Wesley Roberts in Cincinnati, OH, to help her raise the children remaining at home. In about 1946, when son William had a daughter, Patricia, Minnie took on the responsibility of raising Tricia as well. Ann and Tricia grew up thinking of themselves as sisters. Benny apprenticed under Garland, who was an upholsterer, but quit the business shortly after Garland's death in 1967 because the business was willed to son-in-law Earnie Slagle instead of to Benny. Minnie did not survive long after Garland's death, following him to the grave only 18 months later. They both died in Columbus, Ohio, but were buried together in Richmond Cemetery, as this town was Minnie's birth place.
