    Mrs. Rebecca Waddle, age 75, of Lexington, Ky. and formerly of Livingston, passed away after a long illness Sunday, March 27, 1977 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington. She was Born in Livingston, Ky. on December 10, 1901 the daughter of the late Samuel Spivey and Clista Mahaffey and was a member of the Livingston Pentecostal Church.

    She is survived by her husband, Mr. Bert Waddle of Frankfort; five sons, Farmer Waddle of Livingston, Charles, Clyde, Hardin, and Samuel all of Frankfort, Ky.; three daughters, Mrs. Louise Linton of Frankfort, Ky., Mrs. Ann Jennings and Mrs. Maxine Smith both of Lexington, Ky.; two brothers, Elmer Spivey and Casper Spivey both of Livingston; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Terry of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs. Nevia Robinson of Richmond, Indiana and Mrs. Teddy Carpenter of Livingston, Ky. Nineteen grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren also survive.

    Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 30, at 2:00 p.m. at the Morning View Holiness Church by Bro. Lester Arnold and Bro. Dean Carpenter.

    Burial was in the Morning View Cemetery. Arrangements were by the Dowell and Martin Funeral Home.

    Mrs. Clista Spivey, 85, of Livingston died April 27 at her home. A native of Rockcastle County, she was the daughter of the late Jim and and Sarah Durham McHaffey.

    She was a member of the Holiness church.

    Mrs. Spivey was preceded in death by her husband Samuel Spivey.

    She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Bertha Terry of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs. Rebecca Waddle of Frankfort, Mrs. Sally Travillian and Mrs. Tesallen Carpenter, both of Livingston, Mrs. Nevarrene Robinson of Lynn, Three sons, Bentley and Elmer Spivey, both of Livingston, Casper Spivey of Lamero, 40 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, and one brother, James McHaffey.

    Funeral services were conducted Saturday April 29, at Morning View Holiness Church with Bros. Rolla Cornelius, George Murphy, and John Durham officiating. Burial was in Bales Cemetery.

    Sparks Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
