    Clarence McDaniel, 65, died Monday afternoon in a Haines City, Fla. Hospital. A former Hamilton resident, Mr. McDaniel had resided in Florida the last 12 years.
    He was born in Harlan County, Ky., a son of William and Frances Bullock McDaniel. While in Hamilton, he was a truck driver for various firms.
    He leaves his wife, Bertha McDaniel; a son, Paul McDaniel, Middletown; two brothers, Karl McDaniel and Vernon McDaniel, both of Hamilton; a sister, Mrs. Gladys Mogle, Wyoming; three grandchildren.
    Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Fairfield Church of God, Rte.2, Fairfield.
    Burial will be in Darrtown Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 until 9 p.m. in Brown and Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., and at the church Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services.

    William C McDaniel, age 79, Hamilton, died of complications Friday morning at 1:30 o’clock in his home. He had been ill the last 15 months. Mr. McDaniel was born Jan. 7, 1868, in Clay Co, Ky. He was a carpenter by trade & was a kind & loving father. He was a faithful member of the Church of God, Pater Ave.
    Mr. McDaniel leaves the widow, Frances McDaniel; five sons, Edgar, Clarence, William R, Vernon, & Earl McDaniel, all of Hamilton; one daughter, Mrs Gladys Mogle, Cincinnati; two sisters, Mrs S E Kelley, Hamilton, & Mrs Mary Ponder, Livingston, Ky; nine grandchildren; & two great grandchildren. A son, Chester, died in 1946.
    Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 o’clock, in the residence, 2012 Parkamo Ave, Rev Shelton Brock, Pastor of the Church of God, Hamilton, & Rev Ira Wells, officiating. Burial will be in Darrtown Cemetery. Friends may call at the residence Sunday afternoon & evening.

    FRANCES MCDANIEL CALLED BY DEATH.
    Mrs. Frances McDaniel, 82, Hamilton, died at 8:50 pm, Saturday in Baker’s Convalescent Home, where she had been admitted on Friday. She had been in failing health for several years. Born in Jackson Co, Ky, Feb. 27, 1880, the daughter of J C & Nancy Kincer Bullock, she was educated in the public schools of that area. She was married to William C McDaniel in Mt Vernon, Ky on Aug. 1, 1896 & they moved to Hamilton in 1936. The devoted couple enjoyed more than 51 years of marriage. Mr McDaniel preceded her in death on Dec. 5, 1947. A member of the Pentecostal Highway of Holiness Church, Mrs McDaniel dedicated her life to her church & the welfare & happiness of her family. Fond of embroidery, she spent many happy hours pursuing this hobby.
    She leaves four sons, Clarence, William, Vernon, & Earl McDaniel, all of Hamilton; a daughter, Mrs Gladys Mogle, Cincinnati; ten grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; a brother, Andy Bullock, Livingston, Ky; three sisters, Mrs Vernia Ponder, Livingston, Ky, Mrs Ibba Bond, Orlando, Fla, & Mrs Lyda Howard, Mt Vernon, Ky; other relatives & many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Chester & Edgar McDaniel; a daughter, Mrs Mattie Brock; & three brothers.
    Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday in the Pentecostal Highway of Holiness Church with the Rev. John Carter officiating. Burial will be in the Darrtown Cemetery. Friends may call at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, Hamilton, after 4 pm Monday & from 1 pm Tuesday until time of the service.
