She was born March 4, 1934 in Clay County, Ky. to Delmar Murray and Mary Jane Greer Murray English. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Amanda (Clyde) Blankenship. She married Cliston Sample on Oct. 26, 1952. He survives.
She is survived by her two daughters, Teresa "Terri" Martin and Tamara "Tami" McKinney (Noel); her two grandchildren, Jamie (Beau) Ridings and Jason Martin; sister, Bethel Schaeffer (George); brother, Edmon Murray and many nieces and nephews.
