Notes - Herbert Taft Wilson
Booneville, April 20 – Herbert Taft Wilson, 54, Booneville, a retired farmer, died at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington after a long illness. A native of Owsley County, he was a member of the Rock Springs Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Coda Wilson; three sons, Wilburn Wilson, Green Hall; Eddied Wilson, Lexington, and Randell Wilson, Booneville; a sister, Mrs. Edna McIntosh, Hamilton, Ohio; two brothers, Ellis Wilson, Booneville, and Marvin Wilson, Covington, a grandchild and a step-grandchild.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Rock Springs Primitive Baptist Church by Elder Sam Spicer. Burial will be in the Wilson Cemetery. The body was taken from King Justice and Saylor Funeral Home to the residence.
