Notes - Nell Hurst Brummette, 89, of Louisville, died Sunday October 20, 1996 at Columbia Suburban Hospital. Born November 24, 1906 in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late William Terrill and Carrie Wiley Hurst. She was the widow of William J. Brummette who died in December 1995. She was a member of Beargrass Christian Church. Survivors include: one daughter, Donna Petty, Louisville; one son, Ronald J. Brummette, Sr., Jeffersontown; three brothers, Melvin S. Hurst and Z. B. Hurst, both of Lexington; James R. Hurst, Brookport, IL; 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and several relatives in Mercer County. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 24, at Pearson Funeral Home, 149 Breckenridge Lane, Louisville. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park.
