He was the owner and operator of an auto body shop in Utah, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Riskin. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include a son, Steven, Brooksville; two daughters, Darlyn Phillips, Thonotosassa, and Sandra Wade, Sarasota; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Brewer Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Brooksville.
