Notes - Nellie M. Kidwell, 76, of Oxford, died Oct. 27 at McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital. She was born Dec. 11, 1923 in Germantown, Ohio. She married Charles Kidwell on Oct. 18, 1940 and he preceded her death on Nov. 8, 1984. She was a long-time member of the Alpha Zeta Chapter of Kappa Kappa Sigma Sorority, an active member of the Oxford United Methodist Church and the Senior Citizens. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 31, at the Smith & Ogle Funeral Home, Oxford. Burial was in the Somerville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested donations be made to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society or the Oxford United Methodist Church.
