Irene Lawson Lunsford, 73, 137 Rose Street, died Monday. She was a widow of Raymond W. Lunsford. She was the daughter of the late Chris and Pauline Wilmot Lawson. She was a member of the Thompson Road Baptist Church. Survived by a daughter, Janie Neal; three sons, Jeff, John and Scott Lunsford, all of Lexington; 5 grandchildren; three sisters, Easter Parker, Nora Young, Frances Long, all of Lexington; four brothers, Rubin and Robert Lawson, Lexington, Tom and Walter Lawson, Columbus, OH. Services 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home Rev. James L. Hamilton officiating. Burial Lexington Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Al Prather, William Madden, Charles (Tony) Lansford, Benny Madden, Harvey Turner and Mark Durbin. Visitation from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. today.
