Services for Walter Marcum, 62, of 404 North Whitaker, a retired rig builder, are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home chapel with burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Marcum died Monday in Medical Center Hospital after a two-month illness.
He was born Sept 14, 1912, in Cass, Ark., and married Daphne Delaney in 1968 in Big Spring. He came to Odessa in 1955 from Houston and was a member of Temple Baptist Church and a Mason in Lafayette, La.
Survivors include his widow; at home; a son, Walter Neal Marcum of Friona; two brothers, Eddie Marcum of Houston and Henry Marcum of Texas City; and four sisters, Mrs. Della Neville and Mrs. Florence Crawford, both of McKinney, Mrs. Drucilla Stevens of Kilgore and Mrs. May Faulkner of Redwood City, Calif.
