Notes - Shreveport, LA - Funeral services for Lois Marcum, 87, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Brother Allen Vandyke officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery.
Lois was born July 20, 1930 in Hope, AR to Walter and Verna Garner and passed away on January 6, 2018 in Shreveport. She was a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church. She retired from Caddo Parish Schools as a teacher, where she worked for many years.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roland Marcum; brother, Darryl Garner; and niece, Linda Warman. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Crystal Cheryl Wakefield of Garland, TX; grandsons, Brandon Keith Caulder of Plano, TX and Alex Bostic; sister-in-law, Carolyn Braswell; nephews and nice, Gary Garner, Debbie Park, Rick Warman; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Lifepath Hospice and Heritage Manor South for their care.
