Notes - Glen Marcum
Lompoc - Funeral services for Glen H. Marcum, 61 of Lompoc, will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Starbuck-Lind Mortuary Chapel, with Chaplain Paul D. Motzer of Vandenberg Air Force Base officiating.
Mr. Marcum was born Jan. 3, 1925 in St. Paul, Ark., and was a World war II and Korean War veteran, retiring in 1962 after 19 years with the U.S. Navy. A resident of Lompoc since 1962, he was most recently employed as a missile systems electrician at the base. Mr. Marcum was a member of the Fleet Reserve and a member-at-large of the American Legion. He died Saturday at Vandenberg Air Force Base Hospital.
Survivors include his wife Shirley and a son, Glen Lee Marcum, both of Lompoc. Friends may pay their respects at the mortuary from 3-8 p.m. on Tuesday.
