Notes - Eva Joy (Pingleton) Gibson was the daughter of Samuel and Kizziah Rodgers Willis. She lived most of her life in the McAlester and Hartshorne areas. She married Carl Pingleton on Sept. 30, 1934, and had four children. Later she married Myrl W. Gibson and had one daughter. She was a housewife and enjoyed fishing, bingo, working in her flower garden and going to the ocean. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Carl Pingleton and Myrl W. Gibson; a son, Jimmy Dee Pingleton and a son-in-law, James Turner Daniels. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, at Oak Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Joel Kircher officiating.
