Notes - She was the daughter of Loss and Lula Pendergrast Robertson. She married James H. Pingleton in March 1943, in McAlester. She worked at St. Mary's Hospital in McAlester, McAlester General Hospital, Latimer County Hospital and several area nursing homes. She was a member of First Christian Church in Haileyville. She passed away at Solara Hospital at the age of 92. Survivors include five daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy and Bob Davidson, of Dow, Sue Johnson, of Mustang, Diane and Tony Maffioli, of Alderson, Vicky and Ed Palmer, of McAlester, Kandy and Ricky Cathey, of Haileyville. And, three sons and daughters-in-law, Jack and Lora Johnson, of Tulsa, Jimmy and Virginia Pingleton, of Hartshorne, Frank and Carol Pingleton, of Tulsa; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Pingleton; parents, Loss and Lula Robertson; three brothers, Charles, Hanley and Kenneth Robertson; great-grandson, Timothy John Zozula, and son-in-law, Jerry Johnson. Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Chapel in Hartshorne with the Rev. Bob Davidson officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Hartshorne under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of Hartshorne.
