      Benjamin F. Tankersley, 79, 6100 Haines Road, died yesterday at his home.
      Mr. Tankersley was a carpenter, born in Manchester, Ky. He came to St. Petersburg one month ago from Kenansville, Fla.
      Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Rose Tankersley of Hamilton, O.; four sons, Frank and Kenneth Tankersley, both of St. Petersburg, Edward Tankersley of Detroit Mich., and William Tankersley of Dayton, O.; one daughter, Mrs. Anthony Dragon of Detroit; two brothers, John Tankersley of Healdsburg, Cal., and Robert Tankersley of Kenansville, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Lira Webb of Manchester, Ky., and Mrs. Ollie Hare of Dayton, O.
