Notes - Mrs. Bertie M. Kelley, age 101 of Livingston, KY died Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital surrounded by her family. Born August 3, 1913 in Rockcastle County to George D. Mink and Susie (Lakes) Mink. She was united in marriage to Oscar B. Kelley in 1931 in Calloway by Rev. G. W. Howard. She was of the Pentecostal Faith. She always enjoyed cooking for her family and gardening. During her lifetime she took great pleasure in sewing for her family and quilting.
Mrs. Kelley is survived by one son: Billy R. and Janice Kelley of Independence, KY; two daughters: Pauline Hobbs of Dayton, OH and Janet K. and Junior Owens of Mt. Vernon and one sister: Rhoda Cornelius of Louisville, KY. Also surviving are seven grandchildren: Sue Owens, Jackie French, Gail Bond, Tim Kelley, Kelly Wade, Mike Kelley and Kristi Hansel; ten great grandchildren: Jenny, David, Chris, Steve, Dana, Zachary, Jordan, John Thomas, Brianna and Jacob and fourteen great great grandchildren: Holly, Emily, Gage, Carley, Anna, Taylor, Lexis, Paige, Micah, Jacob, Aden, Kenzie, Abagail and Brinkley. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kelley was preceded in death by her husband: Oscar Kelley; one son: Harold Kelley; three brothers and four sisters.
