He was preceded in death by his parents, George Brown & Frances Robinson Brown and his wife, Jacqueline M., on Oct. 26, 1994. Retired employee of Frigidaire after 31 years of service; Army Air Force Veterans of WWII, in which he was a prisoner of war; part District Fire Chief of Miami Twp.; member of Miamisburg Moose Lodge; American Legion Post #165; and Kettering VFW. Survived by his son & daughter-in-law, Michael F. & Barbara L. Brown, Springboro; his daughter, Erin Jayne Brown, Miamisburg; a brother & wife, Dr. & Mrs. George Brown, Dayton; 2 grandchildren, Jill N. Brown & Eric L. Brown; 5 nieces. Private graveside services will be held at the family's request. Rev. Mike Gray officiating. Burial Hillgrove Cemetery. There will be no visitation hours. Memorial contributions, if so desired, may be made to The Heart Fund in his memory. Arrangements by Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg.
