She was a retired employee of Ohio Bell after 18 years of service, member of St. James United Methodist Church EKT Sorority, and a 1946 graduate of Otterbein College. Survived by husband Harold F. Brown, to whom she was married for 49 years; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael F. and Barbara L. Brown, Springboro; a daughter, Erin Jayne Brown, Miamisburg; 2 grandchildren, Jim N. Brown, Springboro, Eric L. Brown, Yellow Springs. Private graveside services will be held at the family’s request. Dr. Don S. Grant officiating. Burial Hillgrove Cemetery. There will be no visitation hours. Memorial contributions, if so desired may be made to St. James United Church in her memory. Arrangements by Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg.
