Notes - Tribute on Find a Grave:
Margaret Josephine (Kratzer) Gravette was the daughter of Charles Wilson Kratzer Sr. and Mary Jane (Robinson) Kratzer. Her father was born in Dayton, Ohio and her mother was born in Burning Springs, Kentucky. Her oldest sister was Helen Julia (Kratzer) Davis, born in 1913- and she had a younger brother Charles Wilson Kratzer Jr, 1921-1988. Margaret's first husband was Harvey Boston Rector and her second husband was Alonzo Carlton Gravette. Carlton and Margaret share a common Headstone. Margaret had eight children, three sons and five daughters. She loved to bake and today I can still smell the aroma coming from her kitchen from the homemade breads and her delicious cinnamon rolls. She loved and had an ear for music, she herself could play many different instruments. She also knitted and crochet and made many beautiful things. And most of all we enjoyed her poetry she wrote, she was a very talented lady. Margaret was a very loving person with a wonderful sense of humor. God took her home early (Cancer) we love and miss her.
