- Visitation, services for Fred Clark Sunday
Visitation and services for Fred R. Clark, 71, of Mountain Home will be Sunday at the Kirby Funeral Chapel. Mr. Clark died Friday (Jan. 6, 1989) at Baxter County Regional Hospital.
Visitation will be from noon until the service at 2 p.m. The Rev. Jim Rowland will officiate at the service.
Mr. Clark is survived by his wife, Joyce, at home; two daughters, Virginia Wenzlik of Blacksburg, Va., and Deborah Bennett of Grapevine, Texas; one sister, June Mockler of Strongsville, Ohio; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
He was born Feb. 27, 1917, at Carnegie, Pa., the son of Keith and Jewell Robinson Clark. He married Joyce Herrick march 5, 1944, at Monterey, Calif. Mr. Clark lived in Lyndhurst, Ohio, before moving to Mountain Home in 1979. He was a retired field engineer from Johnson Controls.
Mr. Clark was a member of the North Arkansas Woodcarvers, Ozark Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3246, Wildwood Garden Club and the North Arkansas Railroad Club. He was a World War II veteran, having served in the Navy. He was a Methodist.
Burial will be in the Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg, Ohio.
Memorials may be made to the First Methodist Church Building Fund.
Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby & Family Funeral Directors.
