Raymond W. (Poochie) Lunsford Jr., 47, 120 E. Leesway Drive, died at his home Tuesday. He was a long time employee of the Lexington Cemetery. Born in Fayette County, son of Irene Lawson Lunsford and the late Raymond W. Lunsford Sr. Other survivors are his wife, Donna Helmsburg Lunsford; step-daughter, Gina Barnes; step-son, Arval Barnes Jr.; three brothers, Scottie, Jess and Johnny Lunsford; sister, Janie Neal, all of Lexington. Services 11:30 a.m. Friday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home with the Rev. James. L. Hamilton officiating. Burial Lexington Cemetery. Basket bearers will be Ralph Durbin, Thomas Lawson, Albert Prather, Robert Curtis, Lawrence Smith and Bob Sweeney. Honorary bearers will be Robert and Tony Lunsford, Mark and Eric Durbin, Joe Taylor, and Benny Madden. Visitation anytime today.
