Larkin Young, born Sep 19, 1841 in Logan County, Virginia; died Mar 19, 1917 in Owsley County, Kentucky. He was the son of John Nathan "Nathan" Young and Lucy Laura "Lucy" Fields. He married Deborah "Debbie" Moore Abt. 1860 in Owsley County, Kentucky. She was born Feb 1843 in Owsley County, Kentucky, and after 21 April 1917, as she applied for Larkin Young's widows pension on that date. There is a Widow's Application number but no certificate number, which leads me to believe that she probably died shortly after the application was made, but definitely before the application was approved and a certificate issued. She was the daughter of John W. Moore, Jr. and Lucretia Smith. His Kentucky Death Certificate # 09217 recorded in 1917 has his name as "Farkin Young", and his cause of death as Apoplexy and Arterio Sclerosis.
