Whitley Seale first married Laura (Fear) Couch in 1897.
They had two sons, Morton and Dennis. Morton is buried in the Couch-Brandenburg Cemetery.
Laura (sometimes known as Leah, sometimes known as Fear) (Couch) Seale died 18 May 1903 in Owsley County, Kentucky.
Whitley's second wife, Sophia (Brandenburg) Seale was married first to Shelby Kilburn.
