    • William Combs Dies After Long Illness
      William C. Combs, 70, 710 E. Eighth, died Tuesday in Ball Hospital following an extended illness.
      He was a native of Boonville, Ky., and had lived in Muncie for 10 years, coming here from Connersville.
      Survivors include six sons, Fred, Brookville; Edd, Connersville, Don, Covington, Ky., Tom, Muncie, Bobby, Alamo, Calif., and William, Muncie; five sisters, Mrs. Nora Hisle, Winchester, Ky.; Mrs. Nellie Hisle, Indian Fields, Ky.; Mrs. Mary Angel, Carleton, Ky.; Mrs. Addie Rose, Winchester, Ky., and Mrs. Jane Eadaes, Winchester, Ky.; a brother, Chester, Winchester, Ky.; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
      Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the Stephens Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Friday.
