    • note on Find a Grave:
      I found her name spelt several ways Roxanna, Roxsena and Reckseary. On her m/cer her name was
      spelt Rac-seamy. In the Phipps family book of North Carolina, and Virginia, written by John Mullins Rt. 2, Box 3O7 Clintwood Virginia, 24228 said she was also called Sarah.

      I would like to take a moment to explain the relationship on the three Phipps daughters that married three Brewer sons. Joseph Phipps Sr. born around 1730 had the following sons John born around 1750, Benjamin born around 1761/62, Joseph Jr. born around 1755, Samuel born around 1762, Isaiah born around 1769, James born around 1751 and Aaron born around 1768. Rac-seamy Phipps who married Rufus Brewer and Elizabeth Phipps that married Mastin Brewer was Isaiah Phipps daughters. Elizabeth Phipps that married Linear Brewer was a daughter of John Phipps and g/daughter of Benjamin Phipps. I could not find Rac-seamy after Rufus died.
