Lloyd A. Moore
Lloyd A. Moore, age 62, of Hamilton, Ohio, died Thursday, December 11, 2003, at 1:55 p.m. at University Hospital Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born on March 23, 1941, in Allock, [Perry County], Kentucky the son of Velmer and Myrtle (Curtis) Moore, being educated in the Kentucky schools graduating from M.C. Napier High School. On May 1, 1957, in Hazard, Kentucky, he married Carolyn Baker. He was employed at Ford Motor Company as a manufacturing technician for 34 years, retiring in 1997. He was a member of St. Clair Ave. Baptist Church, Local Union #863 and Oxford Lodge #67 F&AM.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn of Hamilton; his children, Karen (Jeff) Eikens of Liberty Township and Kenneth A. (Gerry) Moore of Fairfield Township; six grandchildren, who were the love of his life, Shane, Brandi, Allen, Amanda, Angela, Danielle and one great-grandchild, Kaitlynn; one sister, Dorothy (Harold) Smith of Trenton; four brothers, Ralph (Geneva) Moore of Millville, Lee (Kathleen) Moore of Loveland, Buster (Hazel) Moore of Fairfield and Doug (Judy) Moore of Fairfield Township. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Malta Fugate.
Funeral services will be Monday, December 15, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Clair Ave. Baptist Church, 695 St. Clair Avenue, Hamilton, with Pastor Ty Choate officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 3950 Pleasant Avenue, Hamilton. Oxford Lodge #67 F&AM will hold services Sunday at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Clair Ave. Baptist Church.
