Notes - Irene Killius, age 83, died April 15, 2011, at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. Born April 23, 1927, in Mary, Ky. She married, Glenn, May 20, 1950, in Royal Oak. Mrs. Killius was a resident of Clawson for 60 years, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Sterling Heights for over 30 years; she was a huge asset in the ministry of the Sunshine Sunday School Fellowship. She is survived by children, Gerald (Debra) Killius of Madison Heights, James (Jacquelyn) Killius of Sterling Heights; siblings, Jean (the late Jim) Warbington of Troy, and Phyllis (Jon) Solberg of Groveland Township; grandchildren, Autumn (Jon) Taylor, Marie, Stephen and Scott Killius; great-grandchild, Peyton Taylor. Visitation Sunday 4-8 p.m. and Monday 2-8 p.m. at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre, Madison Heights. Additional visitation, Tuesday 10 a.m. until time of service, 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Sterling Heights, 33380 Ryan Road, Sterling Heights. Interment Oakview Cemetery, Royal Oak.
