    • Lucy Jane McDaniel, age 80, of Hamilton, died at Ft Hamilton Memorial Hospital at 3:15 pm on February 20, 1991. She was born in Springfield, Illinois, February 28, 1910, the daughter of Charles & Elizabeth (Maggard) Witt. She married Edgar Harry McDaniel on May 27, 1933 in Newport, Ky & he preceded her in death on January 4, 1955. She was a member of the North 7th Street Church of Christ where she had been very active for many years.
      She is survived by three sons, Mr Morton Downey, Elizabeth City, North Car, Rev Charles McDaniel, Minister of Missionary for the Church of Christ, Masvingo, Zimbabwe, & Mr George D McDaniel, Tucson, Ariz; a brother, Mr Ferris Witt, Hamilton; five grandchildren; & several great grandchildren. Services will be held at the North 7th Street Church of Christ, Hamilton, at 10 am Saturday with Rev Phil Fairchild & Rev Ray Jones, officiating. Visitation will be held at the Webb-Groves-Noonan Funeral Home, Hamilton, from 5-7 pm. Burial will be in Darrtown Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society.
