      Nora B. (Smith) Hensley, 80, Rt.1, Markleville, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 1991, at St. John’s Continuing Care Center, in Anderson, following an extended illness.
      She was born Nov. 4, 1910, in Jefferson County, and had lived in this area most of her life. She was a homemaker and attended Pendleton Church of God.
      Survivors include two sons, Luther Hensley, of Lapel and Kenneth Hensley, of Anderson; five daughters, Naomi Manlove, of Markleville, Mrs. Ralph (Betty) Knotts and Mrs. Jim (Marcia) Niccum, both of Anderson, Mrs. Richard (Patricia) Kern, of Pendleton and Mrs. Jerry (Becky) Rehmel, of Lapel; her stepfather, Printis McGuire, of Dupont; a brother, James Smith, of Madison; a sister, Helen Youngblood, of Madison; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
      Services were conducted Thursday, Feb. 7, 1991, at Wilson St. Pierre Bright Chapel, Pendleton, with the Rev. Kenneth Sparks officiating. Burial followed at Brookside Cemetery in Lapel.
      Memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association.
