Notes - JOHN FRANKLIN WILSON BOONEVILLE, KY – 5 August 1973 – John Franklin Wilson 98, died Sunday, August 5 at his residence on Rt. 2, Booneville. He was a retired farmer, a native of Owsley County and a member of the Baptist Church. He is survived by a son, Ellis Wilson, Booneville; a daughter, Mrs. Edna McIntosh, Hamilton, OH; a sister Mrs. Lula Price, Clearwater, FL, 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 7 at the Rock Springs Baptist Church by the Rev. Sam Spicer and R. D. Wilson. Burial was in the Wilson family Cemetery with Searcy and Strong Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
