Notes - Mrs. Georgia L. Wilmott dies January 24.
Mrs. Georgia Ellen Wilmott, 81, of Broadhead passed away Wednesday, January 24 at the Rockcastle County Hospital. She was born in Madison County on November 26, 1891, the daughter of the late Jim and Susie Lakes Kidwell and was a member of the Valley Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Everett Wilmott of Brodhead, three daughters, Mrs. Nannie Pingleton of Mt. Vernon, Mrs. Martha Brown of Harlan and Mrs. Mary Roberts of Brodhead; 17 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; three sons, Clarence, Chester and Elmer and by one daughter, Hazel.
Funeral services were held Friday, January 26 at Copper Creek with Rev. Carl D. Sears officiating. Burial was in the Wilmott Family Cemetery.
Watson Funeral Homer was in charge of all arrangements.
