Little Larry William Ponder, son of William W. and Elsie Baker Ponder of Covington, was born January 17, 1954 and died March 15, 1955 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Covington, at the age of one year, one month and 29 days.
Besides his parents, he leaves one brother, Garry Ponder, age 5; eight uncles; one aunt; one grandfather, W. H. Ponder of Livingston; one great grand-mother, Mrs. F. M. Ponder also of Livingston; and many cousins and other relatives.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 16, at the Free Pentecostal Church in Covington and at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 17, at the Cox Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery. [2, 3]
